Providing Interim Operational Staff for one of the world’s best known oil and gas majors was a clear endorsement of MigSolv’s Data Centre Operations service.

The client commissioned MigSolv to provide a complete interim operational staff team and manage its UK data centre for a fixed term contract. During this period Migration Solutions recruited and directly managed an operations team of between 11 and 18 people from the client’s site and introduced best practice procedures across the data centre.

A key component of Migration Solutions offering was the managed ‘transition out’ of the site at the end of the contract period with a knowledge transfer programme to the new incumbent team. During the interim period, Migration Solutions was responsible for maintaining staffing capacity, payroll, HR, insurance, health & safety and security vetting.

The benefits to the client included the security of a fixed term contract with a managed transition to an in-house team, immediate access to high-level data centre skills and the opportunity for their existing staff to acquire new skills from knowledge transfer.
